Biography:​
Meudt has been described as combining the skills of a folklorist, historian, and raconteur in her poetry.

Edna Meudt, poet, author and playwright of Dodgeville, was an outstanding poet, author and playwright; a tireless promoter of the arts, a generous and sharing teacher, a dedicated, preserver of Wisconsin's heritage, and always a farm wife and mother.
