Biography:
Though he grew up in Brooklyn, Dintenfass has called Appleton his home since 1968 when he joined the Lawrence University faculty. His novels are known for their New York settings. His 1982 work Old World, New World was a literary Guild Alternate Selection and came within a few thousand copies of creeping on to the New York Times best-seller list.
