Biography:
Martha Bergland's first novel, A Farm under a Lake, featured some of the same settings and characters as Idle Curiosity. A Farm under a Lake was first published by Graywolf Press and went on to be published in Great Britain, Sweden, and Germany. Martha Bergland teaches English at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Bergland lives in Glendale, Wisconsin.
